The Water Opossum is a rare pet in Adopt Me!, making its debut on August 12, 2025. This unique creature hails from the Aztec-themed update and was initially available through the Aztec Egg, priced at 750 Bucks.
With a striking appearance, the Water Opossum captures players' attention with its rare status. Although the Aztec Egg is no longer available, you can still hatch this pet from any remaining Aztec Eggs or Royal Aztec Eggs, or through trading with other players.
Sporting a 12% hatch rate from the Aztec Egg and a 17% chance from the Royal Aztec Egg, this rare pet is a prized addition to any collection.
The Water Opossum is one of the few pets themed after an actual aquatic mammal!

Neon & Mega Neon
The Neon Water Opossum features a light orange glow on its tail tip, inner ears, and body spots, making it stand out in any collection.
