Overview
The Capybara is a charming, limited-time pet in Adopt Me! that first appeared on August 31, 2019, as part of the Jungle Egg release.
This pet is categorized as uncommon and sports a brown body with triangle-shaped ears, dark brown feet, a distinctive black nose, and beady black eyes, topped off with a cute white bucktooth.
Though no longer available in eggs, you can still add the Capybara to your collection through trading or by hatching any leftover Jungle Eggs.
The Capybara was one of the first pets introduced with the Jungle Egg.
How to Obtain
Hatch Jungle Egg
If you're lucky enough to have a Jungle Egg, you have a 22.5% chance to hatch a Capybara.
Trade with other players
Trade with other players to obtain a Capybara if you don't have a Jungle Egg.
Tricks
Like all pets, it learns a new trick at each growth stage as you age it up from Newborn to Full Grown:

Neon & Mega Neon
The Neon Capybara features glowing bright pink inner ears, nose, and feet, providing a delightful contrast to its usual brown coloring.
The Mega Neon Capybara shares the same glowing areas as the Neon version, but these areas shift through a vibrant rainbow of colors.
Collector Notes
- Though uncommon, the Capybara is a fan favorite due to its cute and distinctive appearance.
- Trading is the main way to acquire a Capybara now, as Jungle Eggs are no longer available in-game.
- The Capybara can learn six tricks as it grows, with 'Dance' being the trick it performs at Full Grown.
