Overview
The African Wild Dog is a unique and limited ultra-rare pet introduced to Adopt Me on July 13, 2023. Its striking appearance includes a dark brown body with distinctive spots and a fluffy tail, making it a favorite among pet collectors.
Originally, players could obtain the African Wild Dog by purchasing five UGC items from the Accessory Shop, with a total cost ranging from 295 to 500 Robux. However, it was replaced by the Jellyfish on January 4, 2024, and is now only available through trading.
This pet succeeded the Glacier Moth with its release and is recognized for its distinct dark and light brown coloring, along with its charming off-white ear fluff and tail tip.
The African Wild Dog was part of a special UGC reward system, adding a unique twist to pet acquisition.

Trade
Since it's no longer available in the shop, trading is the only way to obtain an African Wild Dog.

Like all pets, it learns a new trick at each growth stage as you age it up from Newborn to Full Grown:

Neon & Mega Neon
The Neon version of the African Wild Dog features neon green glowing in its ears, spots, tail, and front feet, offering a vibrant contrast to its natural colors.
When upgraded to a Mega Neon, the same areas glow with a dynamic rainbow of colors, adding a dazzling effect.
