Overview
The Pterodactyl is a rare pet in Adopt Me! that made its debut on October 10, 2020, as part of the prehistoric Fossil Egg release.
Sporting a dark gray-blue body with a distinctive yellow underbelly and red-tipped wings, the Pterodactyl is known for its unique appearance, including a red crest and a long yellow beak.
Although the Fossil Egg is no longer available, players can still acquire this rare pet through trading or hatching any leftover Fossil Eggs with an 8.33% success rate.
The Pterodactyl has a unique red crest that makes it stand out among other pets.
How to Obtain
Trade with other players
Exchange pets or items with other players to get a Pterodactyl.
Hatch Fossil Eggs
If you have any Fossil Eggs left, hatch them for a chance to get a Pterodactyl.

Like all pets, it learns a new trick at each growth stage as you age it up from Newborn to Full Grown:

Neon & Mega Neon
The Neon version of the Pterodactyl glows a vibrant purple on its crest, wing edges, and feet.
