Overview
The Possum is an uncommon pet that made its debut in Adopt Me! on February 16, 2023, as part of the Camping Shop Refresh. It could be bought for 800 Bucks during its availability.
The Possum sports a light gray body and head, accented with a white underbelly and a prominent white mark on its head. Its features include light gray ears with white inner sections, a pink tail, nose, and feet, and black whiskers on its snout.
As of May 30, 2025, the Possum has been replaced by the Muskrat in the game, making it obtainable solely through trading.
The Possum was part of the Camping Shop Refresh in 2023.

Since it's no longer available in the shop, you can acquire a Possum by trading with other players.

Like all pets, it learns a new trick at each growth stage as you age it up from Newborn to Full Grown:

Neon & Mega Neon
The Neon Possum shines with a pale blue glow on its inner ears, face, underbelly, and tail.
For the Mega Neon Possum, those glowing areas rotate through the colors of the rainbow, providing a vibrant display.
Collector Notes
- The Possum is no longer for sale in the Camping Shop, making it a collector's item.
- When trading for a Possum, consider its uncommon status and the effort to train it to Full Grown for Neon transformations.
- Collecting four Full Grown Possums is necessary to create a Neon Possum.
- A Neon Possum can be further transformed into a Mega Neon by collecting four Full Grown Neons.
