Overview
The Platypus is a distinctive ultra-rare pet that was introduced to Adopt Me! on August 31, 2019, as a part of the Jungle Egg release.
This intriguing creature, with its beady black eyes and brown fur, features a darker brown bill, webbed feet, and a tail, making it quite a unique addition to your collection.
Currently, the Platypus is not available through eggs, but it can still be obtained by trading or hatching any remaining Jungle Eggs, where it has a 7.5% chance of appearing.
The Platypus was part of the Jungle Egg update, released alongside other exotic pets!

|---|---|
| Newborn | Sit |
| Junior | Lay Down |
| Pre-Teen | Bounce |
| Teen | Roll Over |
| Post-Teen | Backflip |
| Full Grown | Dance |
Neon & Mega Neon
To create a Neon Platypus, you'll need four Full Grown Platypuses. When transformed, it glows light blue on its bill, tail, and feet.
For a Mega Neon Platypus, you'll need four Full Grown Neons. This version cycles through a rainbow of colors in the same glowing areas.
Collector Notes
- The Platypus is part of the limited pets, making it a sought-after addition for collectors.
- Its unique appearance and rarity enhance its popularity among players.
- Engaging in trades is a strategic way to acquire this pet if you don't have any Jungle Eggs left.
- Keep in mind that Jungle Eggs have a small chance of yielding a Platypus, so trading might be quicker.
