Overview
The Monkey is a rare pet that was introduced in Adopt Me! during the Monkey Fairground Event on May 28, 2020. Its charming appearance features a beige face, black beady eyes, and a tuft of brown hair, with beige accents on its hands and ears against a brown body.
Originally available during the event, players could obtain the Monkey by opening Monkey Boxes, which were sold for 600 Bucks, or Premium Monkey Boxes for 195 Robux. Although the event has ended, you can still get this playful pet through any unopened boxes or by trading with other players.
The Monkey played a special role during the event as it was a key component in crafting various specialty monkeys, including the Business Monkey, Toy Monkey, Ninja Monkey, and Monkey King.
During the Monkey Fairground Event, the Monkey was essential for crafting four unique monkey variants.

Trade with other players to acquire a Monkey.

Like all pets, it learns a new trick at each growth stage as you age it up from Newborn to Full Grown:

Neon & Mega Neon
The Neon Monkey features a glowing pale yellow color on its inner ears, hands, and feet, offering a delightful appearance.
For a more vibrant display, the Mega Neon Monkey's glowing areas cycle through the colors of the rainbow, creating a dynamic and colorful effect.
