The Koi Carp is a rare pet in Adopt Me! that made its debut on September 8, 2022, as part of the Japan Egg release. This aquatic pet is not just any fish—its striking white body adorned with red spots makes it a collector's favorite.
When the Japan Egg was available, players had a 34% chance to hatch a rare pet, but only an 11.33% chance to specifically get the Koi Carp. Though the Japan Egg is no longer available, you can still find this pet through trading or by hatching any remaining Japan Eggs you might have.
The Koi Carp's appearance is marked by its graceful fins, a large tail, and two beady black eyes that complete its unique look.
The Koi Carp's design is inspired by traditional Japanese koi fish, symbolizing luck and prosperity.

Hatch any remaining Japan Eggs you have to try and obtain the Koi Carp.

Trade with other players to acquire a Koi Carp if you don't have a Japan Egg.

Neon & Mega Neon
A Neon Koi Carp features glowing pale red spots on its body, as well as parts of its back fin and forehead. To create one, you'll need to combine four Full Grown Koi Carps.
The Mega Neon Koi Carp takes the glow to the next level with its spots, back fin, and forehead cycling through rainbow colors. Crafting a Mega Neon requires four Full Grown Neon Koi Carps.
