Overview
The Kangaroo, a limited legendary pet in Adopt Me!, hopped into the game on February 29, 2020, as part of the Aussie Egg release. With the retirement of the Aussie Egg, acquiring a Kangaroo now means either trading with other players or hatching any leftover Aussie Eggs.
This charming pet features a brown body with a light beige underbelly, where it carries its adorable joey. The Kangaroo has distinctive brown ears with tan insides, expressive eyebrows, and a cute black nose.
The Kangaroo has a special Trick 2 animation where a joey pops out of its pouch!
How to Obtain
Trade
You can trade with other players to get a Kangaroo.
Hatch Aussie Egg
Hatch any remaining Aussie Eggs you might have for a chance to get a Kangaroo.
Tricks
Like all pets, it learns a new trick at each growth stage as you age it up from Newborn to Full Grown:

Neon & Mega Neon
The Neon Kangaroo shines brightly with a yellow glow on its inner ears, nose, tail, and feet. To create a Neon Kangaroo, you'll need four Full Grown Kangaroos.
The Mega Neon Kangaroo elevates the glow with a stunning cycle of colors—white, pastel pink, deep pink, and pastel blue—across the same areas as the Neon version. Creating a Mega Neon requires four Full Grown Neon Kangaroos.
Collector Notes
- The Kangaroo was part of the Aussie Egg collection, which is no longer available.
- You have a 1.5% chance of hatching a Kangaroo from an Aussie Egg.
- Trading is a viable way to obtain a Kangaroo if you missed the Aussie Egg event.
- When performing Trick 2, the Kangaroo's joey makes an appearance, adding a fun element to its animation.
