Overview
The Ground Sloth is a charming, limited common pet introduced in Adopt Me! on October 10, 2020. It made its debut alongside the Fossil Egg as part of a prehistoric-themed update.
With the Fossil Egg now being unobtainable in the game, players can acquire the Ground Sloth by trading with others or by hatching any Fossil Eggs they might still have. The chance of hatching this specific pet is 12.5% from a Fossil Egg.
The Ground Sloth has a light-brown body with a distinct yellow-beige underbelly and beady black eyes. A dark brown line underlines its eyes, and it is characterized by yellowish-brown feet, a brown tail, and long white claws.
The Ground Sloth moves similarly to the Sloth, another pet in Adopt Me!

Trade
Trade with other players to acquire a Ground Sloth.
Hatch Fossil Eggs
Hatch any remaining Fossil Eggs you might have.
Tricks
Like all pets, it learns a new trick at each growth stage as you age it up from Newborn to Full Grown:

Neon & Mega Neon
The Neon Ground Sloth glows light blue on its stomach, nose, claws, feet, and tail, giving it a vibrant look.
The Mega Neon version cycles through all the colors of the rainbow in the same glowing areas, creating a dazzling display.
Collector Notes
- The Ground Sloth was part of the Fossil Egg update, so it's no longer available through eggs in the nursery.
- Its common rarity makes it easier to trade for compared to rarer limited pets.
- If you have any Fossil Eggs, there's a 12.5% chance of hatching a Ground Sloth.
- The pet's appearance and movements are based on the prehistoric giant sloth.
