The Castle Hermit Crab is a rare pet introduced to Adopt Me! during the third week of the Summer Festival in 2023.
This charming pet sports an orange body with black eyes and large claws, topped by a castle-like shell with cyan turrets and seaweed details.
Originally available from the Hermit Crab Box for 12,000 Beach Balls, it now requires trading or unopened boxes to obtain.
The Castle Hermit Crab has a 25% chance of appearing from a Hermit Crab Box.

Obtain by opening any remaining Hermit Crab Boxes purchased during the Summer Festival.

Trade with other players who own a Castle Hermit Crab.

Like all pets, it learns a new trick at each growth stage as you age it up from Newborn to Full Grown:

Neon & Mega Neon
The Neon version of the Castle Hermit Crab glows with light blue on its turrets and green on its seaweed.
A Mega Neon Castle Hermit Crab features the same glowing areas as the Neon but cycles through a rainbow of colors.
