Overview
From April 26 to May 10, 2024, the Fossil Isle Excavation event returned to Adopt Me, inviting players to embark on a thrilling archaeological adventure. Much like its 2020 predecessor, this event allowed players to excavate fossils at a special site and use them to create unique pets.
Players could travel to the event area via helicopter or teleport using the Task Board. The main attraction was the digging site where players uncovered fossils and transformed them into pets using the Fossil Sequencer 7000.
The event also introduced the Fossil Sticker Pack, available for purchase, adding an extra layer of fun and collectability to the experience.
The dig site in Fossil Isle Excavation had three layers: dirt, stone, and granite, each requiring progressively stronger pickaxes to mine.
What the Event Offered
- Discover five new prehistoric pets by collecting and sequencing fossils: Brachiosaurus, Velociraptor, Ankylosaurus, Elasmosaurus, and Dimorphodon.
- Upgrade your Copper Pickaxe to an Iron and then a Diamond Pickaxe to dig deeper into the excavation layers.
- Purchase the Fossil Sticker Pack for 250 to collect exclusive event stickers.
- The Fossil Sequencer 7000 and Fossil Sticker Pack remained on Adoption Island until May 17, 2024, after the event ended.
Good to Know
- Even after the event ended, players had until May 17, 2024, to use the Fossil Sequencer 7000 and purchase the Fossil Sticker Pack.
- To obtain the rarest pet, Dimorphodon, players needed 20 Dimorphodon Fossils plus 3,600 or 1,000 Robux.
