The Golden Egg is a prestigious reward in Adopt Me!, introduced with the Star Rewards update on March 20, 2020. It's a legendary egg that guarantees a legendary pet upon hatching.
Players can obtain it by accumulating 660 stars through Star Rewards, which typically takes around 180 days. Once obtained, players' stars reset, allowing them to start collecting stars and rewards anew.
The Golden Egg can also be acquired through trading, making it a desirable item among players. It hatches into one of three legendary pets: the Golden Griffin, Golden Dragon, or Golden Unicorn.
The Golden Egg's color changes from golden to a dark yellow at night!
